Department’s Tasks:

• granting property rights to the national legal entities, public schools, church legal entities
• transferring forests to the forest divisions
• commune’s acquisition of the arable lands situated within its territory under the regulations of the law
• granting decisions in the affairs concerning expropriation of the real estates for national roads and indemnifications
• making decisions in the affairs concerning permits to seize a real estate immediately
• granting permits to the national organizational units for withdrawing from the permanent administration of the National Treasury’s real estates
• transferring, under a donation procedure, the real estates being military airfields to the units of the territorial self-government
• acknowledging the rights to receive compensation for the real estates left beyond the present borders of Poland
• determining if the land properties were affected by the decree of the Polish Committee of National Liberation
• conducting the proceedings and making decisions in the 1st instance transferring the property of the National Treasury in favour of the competent communes and poviats
• monitoring and analysing the method of spending the funds of the governor’s budget received by the starosty offices as subsidies in order to accomplish the tasks concerning the management of the National Treasury’s real estates
• exercising corporate governance functions over the state owned enterprises for which the Mazowieckie Province Governor is the founding body
• initiating and conducting proceedings aimed at changing the legal status of activities of the enterprises for which the Mazowieckie Province Governor is the founding body
