The scope of the activity of the Bureau of Development and  Investment includes in particular:
  • initiating and coordinating the implementation of solutions  improving the functioning of the Office;
  • the implementation of the tasks connected with granting subsidies for co-funding investment tasks accepted for implementation within the framework of the Programme for the Development of Commune and District Road Infrastructure, and the organization of work of the Commission evaluating the applications within the framework of the indicated Programme including:
  • handling activities connected with calling for proposals for the subsequent periods of implementing the programme, and the service of a province commission evaluating the applications submitted by the communes and districts of the province,
  • preparing agreements and annexes concluded with the beneficiaries on financing the projects implemented  within the framework of the Programme for the Development of Commune and District Road Infrastructure,
  • the examination and verification of the financial documents in order to establish the actual use of state budget funds,
  • conducting controls on the spot of project implementation;
  • the implementation of tasks connected with granting subsidies from the state budget for co-funding projects from the general provision or specific provisions of the state budget, and other tasks in accordance with the regulations concerning the rules for conducting the development policy including:
  • the preparation, analysis, and completion of the documents that are necessary for drawing up applications for  releasing state budget funds for the implementation of tasks or projects from the territory of the Mazovian province,
  • preparing agreements and annexes concluded with the beneficiaries on financing the implemented projects.
  • the examination and verification of the financial documents in order to establish the actual use of state budget funds,
  • conducting controls on the spot of project implementation;
  • handling matters connected with the implementation of the projects co-funded from the European budget funds within the framework of operational programmes;
  • the implementation of tasks connected with the development and security of ICT systems and networks;
  • the implementation of tasks imposed by the regulations on the National Real Estate Property Resource;
  • the service of the projects and programmes specified by separate orders or decisions by the Province Governor or the Managing Director;
  • initiating and coordinating the investment-development activities of the Office
  • supporting the activities of the government administration combined in the province in the scope of the possibility of using funds coming from external sources;
  • handling matters in the scope of the Quality Management Integrated System;
  • the implementation of the tasks connected with the action plan of the Office, management control, and risk analysis;
  • ensuring safe functioning of IT systems and the updateness of procedures and instructions involving IT systems;  
  • the implementation of projects connected with the development, implementation, and operation of the ICT systems in the Office;
  • the implementation of solutions and IT technologies;  
  • assessing the plans of organizational units of the Office concerning the projects with the application of IT technologies; and substantial supervision over their implementation;
  • the administration of ICT infrastructure of the Office;
  • maintaining  the updateness of IT systems; the updateness of server systems and data bases, in particular;
  • participation in managing the register of computer and printing equipment, and intangible assets including software licenses;  
  • the coordination of implementing the statistical research programme of public statistics;
  • the implementation of  tasks connected with the development of  an intranet;
  • conducting trainings concerning the use of  an intranet and  the Public Information Bulletin of the Office.
