Residence permits
IF YOU STAY IN POLAND, AND YOU WANT TO CONTINUE YOUR STAY, AND TO OBTAIN A RESIDENCE CARD IN CONNECTION WITH WORK, BUSINESS ACTIVITY, STUDIES, AND OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES,
IF YOU WANT TO OBTAIN A RESIDENCE PERMIT FOR YOUR FAMILY MEMBER OR A PERMANENT RESIDENCE PERMIT OR A RESIDENCE PERMIT OF A LONG-TERM EU RESIDENT.
Temporary residence permits:
- Work and residence –if you want to live and work in Poland - Click
- The Blue Card - if you want to live Poland and work in a profession requiring high qualifications - Click
- Seasonal work- if you stay in Poland in connection with preforming seasonal work and you want to extend your legal stay - Click
- The work of an aasigned employee – if you are an employee seconded to the territory of the Republic of Poland by a foreign employer; and they have obtained a work permit for You in advance or you are exempt from the obligation of possessing a work permit - Click
- Business activity – if you want to stay in Poland and you conduct business activity, e.g. you are a management board member and you possess the stocks or shares of a company - Click
- Residence with the family – if you are a member of a foreigner’s family or a citizen of the Republic of Poland, and you want to legalize your stay in Poland or if you live in Poland and you want to legalize the stay of your family members - Click
- Studies and graduates – if you want to stay and follow full-time higher education studies or you are a graduate from a Polish university looking for work - Click
- Researchers and scientists -if you are a scientist conducting research in a scientific unit on the territory of the RP or you are looking for work after finishing it - Click
- Internship and voluntary service - if the purpose of your stay is to complete an internship in an approved unit or participate in EVS - Click
- Other circumstances - when there are other circumstances justifying your stay in Poland (e.g. as a clergyman, continuing education, short-term residence permits) - Click
Permanent residence permits and a residence permit of a long-term EU resident:
- A residence permit for a long-term EU resident - if you have stayed in Poland for over 5 years and would like to obtain an indefinite residence permit - Click
- A permanent residence permit - if you want to obtain a permanent residence permit (e.g. the spouses of the citizens of the RP after 3 years of marriage, human trafficking victims) Also: for the people of Polish ancestry or the people who have a Polish Charter intending to live in Poland - Click
Remember!
- Foreigners reside in Poland on the basis of residence permits, visas, visa-free traffic. The Residence Card is a document issued on the basis of a residence permit granted.
- There is not possibility of "extending" a temporary residence; a new application for granting another residence permit ought to be submitted.
