Conditions I have to meet
The Polish foreigner's travel document is issued for a foreigner who has lost his/her travel document or whose travel document has been damaged or became invalid and the foreigner cannot obtain a new travel document, if the foreigner have been granted a permanent residence permit or a long-term EU residence permit, subsidiary protection or a residence permit for humanitarian reasons.
The Polish foreigner's identity document may be issued to:
- a minor foreigner born on the territory of the Republic of Poland and staying on this territory without its parents' charge, if this is not against the interest of the Republic of Poland and is necessary to ensure the child's welfare;
- a foreigner staying on the territory of the Republic of Poland and does not have any citizenship, if this is in line with the interest of the Republic of Poland
- a person having a certificate confirming its being a victim of human trafficking.
If the foreigner cannot register herself/himself at her/his current place of residence, the document will be printed without the address.
A temporary Polish travel document for a foreigner can be issued to a foreigner who does not have a travel document and cannot obtain a new one, when the foreigner is going to leave the territory of the Republic of Poland or has become obliged to do so.
